Chelsea Handler is a big ol' liar. She does not deny it--check out Are You There Vodka, It's Me Chelsea for evidence. But her new audiobook, Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me, elevates her lies to a whole new level, with hilarious results.

Instead of the typical comedian's audiobook consisting of personal anecdotes, Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me is made up of stories written and read by Handler's friends and family about the ways in which Handler has fooled them. It takes guts to admit that you're a complete sucker who is willing to fall for stories told to you by a person you already know delights in tricking people, but somehow they pull it off without making Handler look like a complete ghoul.

Highlights include telling people she was pregnant and then drinking in front of them, nearly ruining a honeymoon, and way more bodily humor than you'd expect from a 35 year old.  It may sound mean-spirited, but everyone agrees that she only messes with you if she loves you.  It's a great listen (although not for those who are easily offended, it must be mentioned).
